Oh, the app is completely in English but I have also added an English 
translation containing the same strings. So I have to remove it...

I have found out, that all avaible languages are installed during make 
install. So I only have to change the KDE system language to switch between 
English and German.

Now I see it is working. That was important for me to see what I was codeing. 
It makes it easier to understand.

So I have no more questions in this area ;-)
