Hi Anne-Mari= e, there are currently two projects in kde review that would like to join K= DE Edu:

* kqtquickch= arts : split out of internal library out of KTouch

=C2=A0

If I understand = the application life cycle correctly, there is an approval of the module ma= intainer required to let them go into KDE Edu. Since the 4.13 freeze will s= tart in 7 days, time runs :)

=C2=A0

So it would be c= ool if you could respond to boths threads at kde-core-devel and say what yo= u think about it. Both projects are already 2 weeks in review and all known= issues were fixed.

Andreas

Hi Andreas,

I do not h= ave at the moment a working KDE version where I could test the 2 above prog= rams.

As you all saw, I did not have much free tim= e to work on KDE the past 2 years and when I do have a little time, I don= =E2=80=99t find the motivation to catch on... I won=E2=80=99t be at Akademy= nor at the next KDE Edu Randa meeting due to family contraints at that tim= e. I still hope to port my Edu programs to KF5 soon though and I still foll= ow the mailing lists a bit.=C2=A0

I think the best thing is for myself to step down forma= lly as module maintainer so either you or Aleix or somebody else can become= module maintainer. Is there any other formal duty that I hold?=C2=A0

When you decide on whom will be the new maintainer I can sen= d a mail to kde-core-devel explaining that I stepped down and somebody else= replaces me.

Best regards and thank you all for y= our work on KDE Edu, the arrival of Artikulate and kqtquickcharts as a shar= ed lib are of course very good news!

Hi Anne-Marie,<= /div>
If that's what keeping us from having A= rtikulate and dependencies in, I would be happy to take over the KDE Edu mo= dule maintainership. I've been on KDE Edu for a while, I know how thing= s work and I'll do my best to make sure things work as smoothly as poss= ible.
