Cantor is now living in KDEs git repositories, you can get them using
"git clone git://anongit.kde.org/cantor", or see
https://projects.kde.org/projects/kde/kdeedu/cantor/repository for other ways.

You can compile it the same way as any other KDE application, using cmake. A
simplistic example of how to compile it is included in the README file inside
the cantor directory.

Since kdeedu migrated to git it is possible to only compile cantor

This should be recent enough to compile Cantor without having to build any
additional  dependencies yourself. Sorry about the duplicated version numbers,
I constantly forget to bump them.
