What you want is to use "KDE resources" (web-team, sysadmin-team, server, wiki installation) for something that is not a "KDE project" (i hope we agree KUbuntu is not a KDE project by the manifesto definition). I am not vetoing this in a any way but I'd like everyone involved in deciding if this is a good idea or not to think about it. The manifesto is a very good tool to decide on requests like this one without getting emotionally attached to the thing in question being discussed. If you say "yes" even if the manifesto says "no", then you lost that powerful tool and will have to discuss every request like this in a case by case basis and people will get angry and emotional because to something that was similar to theirs (at least in their opinion) you said "yes" and to them you said "no".
