Summary: KFormula: described procedure does not work that way
Product: docs
Version: unspecified
Platform: Debian testing
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: kde-doc-english kde org
ReportedBy: schwarzerf gmail com
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.3)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
In index.docbook:1208 there is a description how to extract a .tar.gz file.
I was not able to reconstruct the way as described.
"You can unpack them with the &kde; application &ark;. \
<mousebutton>Right</mousebutton> click on <filename>esstix.tar.gz</filename> and \
select <menuchoice><guimenu>Extract</guimenu><guimenuitem>Extract \
Here</guimenuitem></menuchoice>."
ark doesn't show the .tar.gz file itself (it shows the content), so I could not \
rightclick it. Rightclick in konqueror gives me only the "open with ark"-entry... \
Anyway. Konqueror can handle .tar.gz files without starting ark, so I see nor reason \
to use ark here.
Maybe it could be described as follows:
"You can unpack them with the &kde filebrowser Konqueror. \
<mousebutton>Left</mousebutton> click on <filename>esstix.tar.gz</filename> to see \
the content. <mousebutton>Right</mousebutton> click on this content and select \
<menuchoice><guimenu>Copy \
To</guimenu><guisubmenu>Browse...</guisubmenu></menuchoice>." \
