This bug was reported by me for KDE-1.1 I think, when I tried out devfsd.

There are several places in KDE, where devfsd is not supported (artsdsp,
kscd,..)
Kind of sad, that devfsd is not yet standrad, it makes everything so much
easier and transparent.
