For several reasons:
- don't mix the kicker extension, and the kdeprint example. The interesting
part here is the menu extension itself, not the kdeprint example. So the
main issue is the possibility to add dynamic menus to kicker, either in
the K-menu, or in the panel.
- a system tray cannot be plugged in the K-menu
- you already have a system tray when the job viewer is running. Having 2
icons will be confusing
- system trays corresponds to separate running applications. Here the object
is a dynamic extension to kicker.
