I'd like to announce the Freenet IOSlave I have been working on is in 
workable state.  The source is under kdenonbeta/kio_freenet.

It uses the ezFCPlib library to communicate with a freenet Node, 
allowing the IOSlave to keep up with features added to the Client 
Protocol.

YMMV; it works on my system ok, I may have left some things out that 
experience hasn't taught me yet.  Respond to this list and/or me 
personally.
