Is it possible to install some kde applications to another dir than $KDEDIR?
I use Mandrake Cooker RPMs for KDE2.2 and I want to install some "external"
KDE-programs by hand. If I set for example --prefix=/opt/theapp or something
else other than /usr (which is where mdk installs KDE), the applications
can't find their icons and other data in $KDEDIR/share.
When compiling my own programs I usually set --prefix to /opt/appname so I
don't mess up the system. This works for all programs but KDE ones.
Is there a way to solve this?
Regards
Per Wigren
