Perhaps not 'required' but still _usefull_.  :-)

Having a special program for DTP that concentrates on Frame Layout questions
and uses other programs to fill those frames with nice content could be a
way to avoid duplicate work but still get a usefull DTP tool.
It /might/ sound trivial but solving the pure Layout task IMO should be worth
a dedicated program.

Any comments to this idea?

I have been thinking about a very simple but very configurable and usefull
frame-oriented DTP program since a lot(!) of years, exactly since the time
I fought against the build-in concepts of MS Word 4.0.  :-D
