Well - I already proposed something similar some months ago (including a
"go"-textstring aside the icon itself) - unfortunately according to
Matthias Elter it's not that easy to implement this.

Concerning the Sun-Usability-Study: Most of the issues mentioned there
aren't really that interesting - in fact I'd consider most of the
problems there as long-known issues. Actually I ask people who are
visiting the the KDE-booth on Linux-events quite similar questions. It
always turns out that the biggest problem is _not_ to become aware of
the existing problems of the interface but to find a viable solution to
solve the issue.
Concerning icons for example it's quite easy to find out which icons are
good symbols and which aren't. I'm quite aware of those icons which
don't really give good symbols and aren't very intuitive. The real
problem is to find something that might do better (idea+designconcept).
