Even then every file needs to be edited once to include that tag. Though on 
the long run that saves us some headaches.

I don't know if it exists, it wouldn't surprise me if it did. But I have't 
seen files actually using it (except for the $Id macro, but that's not 
completely the same).

And if all comments would be in the same style a bit of sed/perl magic could 
do the trick, but I don't think that's really possible here either.
