the user's ~/. split view is especially commonly used for quick ftp 
stuff, so dropping onto a download directory would be readily 
available. and in any case, it's pretty much the default, isn't it, 
when one opens konqueror for file browsing. though if there were a 
way to make it user selectable, so much the better.
