hi,
since a few weeks knotify crashes at startup.

"of course" it does not crash, if i run it in gdb. :-/
i also sometimes find a process "kdeinit: knotify", which seems a bit
strange in the context of this note in the startkde script:
"Not started with kdeinit because it uses threads and kdeinit doesn't."
but this is not the cause of the above problem - even on the contrary:
it does not crash (at startup), when run through the kdeinit_wrapper.
