Hi!
there is no app "kpersonalizer" in the bug system so I put my requests here
if theses are not done automagicaly

1) font size
the fontsizes for various apps should be set here
- konqueror minimum/medium font size 
- KDE
- kword (default font size + default zoom)
- and others ....
A new user will have problems to find all the options :- | 

2) print system + printer
if no default printer (variable PRINTER) is set up kpersonalizer  should ask 
for this

3) setup of kppp, kmail , knode , korganizer .......

I think kpersonalizer should/could be extended to a checklist which "basic" 
apps should be configured to get most out of  KDE.
