Hi,
I know this is probably more suited for gcc or qt bugs mailling lists, but
this maybe of some interest to KDE developers as well. When compiling
qt-x11-2.3.0 on alpha ev5 I get the following error:
g++ -c -I/usr/X11R6/include -I/home/opt/qt-2.3.0/include -I/usr/X11R6/include -pipe \
-O2 -fPIC -DQT_BUILTIN_GIF_READER=1 -DQT_XFT -o kernel/moc_qnetworkprotocol.o \
kernel/moc_qnetworkprotocol.cpp
kernel/moc_qnetworkprotocol.cpp: In function `static class QMetaObject * \
QNetworkProtocol::staticMetaObject()': kernel/moc_qnetworkprotocol.cpp:163: Internal \
compiler error in `gen_reload_inhi', at insn-emit.c:5550 Please submit a full bug \
report. See <URL:http://www.gnu.org/software/gcc/bugs.html> for instructions.
cpp0: output pipe has been closed

make[1]: *** [sub-src] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/opt/qt-2.3.0'
make: *** [init] Error 2
I'm compiling it with gcc-2.95.3-27 from PLD (Polish(ed) Linux
Distribution) distribution (the system in some sort of transition mode
from old RH6.0 to newest PLD-1.0).
Two questions:
1) has anyone experienced the ame problem? (remedy?)
2) will kde cvs code run with qt-2.2.4?
Regards,
Jacek Stolarczyk
