Maybe you could have a look a notedit, and see if it could be extended in some
ways. IMO, it would be better to have some kind of generic program to write
music (whatever the format: scores, tablatures, ...), than to have several
separate ones for each music type.
But I also would love to have a KDE music writing program like Finale2000,
CakeWalk Score Writer, or equivalent.
