Sorry if I have to come back on the mimetypes.

I just tried to open some of my older (1999) MS word and excel files. most of 
them are not recognized by mime type. only if I add xls and doc to the file 
association I can open these files with LMB in konqueror.

BTW the filters getting better every day :-))
