Hi!
With the increasing number of  available applications (*.desktop files in 
applnk- about 400 in the current KDE CVS and almost 900 in SUSE 7.1 - without 
everything installed) it becomes increasingly difficult to find the or 
similar apps.

So I suggest to implement a search function like in  kcontrol, scanning the 
Name and Comment fields in the *.desktop files.
