I've been playing with KRootPixmap, and I just don't get how to use it. Specifically, how can I draw text on a widget using it? If I draw in transparent mode, when I overwrite the text, the old one is not erased (that's to be expected :-) But if I draw in opaque mode, the pixmap is obscured! I guess I should somehow clear the area before drawing, but how? If I use eraseRect() it draws a solid square? I tried looking at Konsole's sources, but I didn't understand how they do it.
