They aren't going to co-exist -- yes, you'll need to removed the old
first. SuSE is RPM based, so it should simply be a matter of:
rpm -Uvh packangename.rpm
Do this for each of the packages -- kdelibs, kdesupport, kdebase, then
the rest. This should "upgrade" the older KDE version up to 2.1.1.
If required, you have the --nodeps and --force options at your disposal,
although I only recommend this if you are experienced and can recover a
broken box! ;)
