There are fixes in the Blackdown source tree for this that the Sun developers 
have access to.  I've brought it up in the past on the Blackdown list and I 
know that some of Sun's linux guys have seen them.  I don't know why they 
aren't taking them.

It seems that kde2 is not really a platform that Sun is serious about testing 
on yet.  We( my Caldera team ) has given them CD's in the past with KDE2, but 
until there are some real bug reports in their bug system nothing will change 
probably.
