You're using QT Xft antialiasing? Fixed fonts don't work well in that; it's 
possible to get (some of) them working if you edit your XftConfig (in 
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11) correctly. See

It's not guaranteed to work, though, so your best bet is to either set 
QT_XFT=0 before running konsole or to disable Xft AA on the whole desktop.
