Well, kdedb/configure.in.in has :
dnl avoid compilation of kdedb for now.
DO_NOT_COMPILE="$DO_NOT_COMPILE kdedb"

I'm quite sure this is the problem.
But I don't know if it's intentionnal or not. Probably not ?
Alessandro, should we enable kdedb now ?
