ok...I just finished my rebuild of kdelibs/kdebase...100% up to date KDE_2_1_BRANCH \
and I still have this problem.  

load konqueror from kicker

click in the url..type www.kde.org...it loads...click in the url field after \
http://www.kde.org/ and add misc.html for example...page reloads to www.kde.org.
