As anyone familiar with my coding know, I should not answer a question
about elegance, BUT...
How about reimplementing Qt over kdelibs?
Say, implement something with the same interface as QApplication that is a
wrapper over a KApplication.
Then, this program of yours could open either the "real Qt" or the
"Qt wrapper over kdelibs". The interfaces exported by both libs would be
the same.
There is probably a lot of voodoo involved to avoid name clashing, but it
should be feasible.
And no, you don't have to tell me that it's a very unpleasant hack ;-)
