Subject: Standardised Find and Replace support code for Koffice/Kde

Hi,
I've been thinking for a while about trying to improve the consistency in
behaviour (and look'n'feel) between koffice/kde apps. My first attempt in
this direction is a design for common Find/Replace functions.
This currently consists of a pair of dialogs (modelled on the Find/Replace
dialogs of 2.1's kwrite) along with support code that implements nearly all
the logic required to implement these functions. Since KDE is obviously in
feature freeze, the code is currently implemented as part of
koffice/lib/kofficeui (koFind.{h,cc} and koReplace.{h,cc}).
I've implemented most of the integration of this stuff with kspread (although
it seems I'll need some help with a couple of things, hint, hint!). I'll
tackle kword (RICHTEXT version) next.
After 2.1, if noone objects, I'll move it to kdeui and retrofit it to kwrite.
Any ideas or comments welcome!
Thanks, Shaheed
