hi there,

what is the best way to install default config files?
most people seem to do this by using data_DATA and changing the 
installation directory manually. but this is evil, as it overwrites 
already existing files. this is not suitable for config files, i think.

do we need a new automake primary _CONF to implement this? could this
be done with am_edit?
