I spent all day upgrading my system from the RedHat rawhide site.
I removed KDE 1.x completely, except for the kde1-compat package and
now most things run well. A lot of KDE programs are still buggy, but
I assume those bugs are also the ones on the hundreds of pages of bugs
I saw on the buglists. Thanks for the advice.
