Subject: Bug#16910: any user can run shutdown
From: lloyd.osten () accesscomm ! ca

[Download RAW message or body]
Package: unknown
Version: 2.0.1
Severity: critical
Installed from: Linux Mandrake 7.2 updates (RPMs)
there is a spot in KDe setup as to which users can run 'shutdown'. Even though I have \
it set to 'root', I can shut it down when I am non-root (i.e., an ordinary user) It's \
very convenient, but could result in problems (I'm the only user on this machine)
