I don't know, if this has been fixed already, or somone is working on it.
I had a problem with KDE2 prereleases, which exists in KDE2.0 release too.
If I play an Mpeg Video with kaiman or noatun I can resize the MPEG output
window and the movie size adapts to it, but if I change to eg. an mp3 or wav
file and start playing the movie again, the movie keeps it small size,
although I resize the window. The only thing which helps is killing and
restarting artsd.
It happens to if you exit kaiman while playing and start it again. The movie
doesn't resize to fit the window anymore.

I use Kernel 2.2.16, KDE2.0 final, Suse 7.0, XFree 4.0 with a PII350 +
Matrox G400
