And possibly LC_ALL to sv_SE (this is the right one); I just tried that
yesterday, I was playing with all the combinations and found out the LC_ALL
is required (at least on my glibc). A quick test is:
export LC_ALL=sv_SE; date
This way you should see the date and time in your language and format.
Look under /usr/share/locale/sv_SE, there should be a couple of files like
LC_*.
