Subject: File associations are not editable
From: Klaus Reimer <k.reimer@twisd.de>
To: submit@bugs.kde.org
Package: kcontrol
Version: v2.0pre (KDE 2.0 Release Candidate 2)
Severity: normal
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.2 20000220 (Debian GNU/Linux)
OS: Linux 2.2.17 i686 (Debian Package 4:2.0-20001011-0)

I can't add a new file association.

I am trying to do this:

1. Open KControl
2. Choosing File Browsing/File Associations
3. Choosing image/tiff
4. Pressing the add-Button
5. Choosing Graphics/Image Viewer
6. Pressing OK

If I now choose again File Browsing/File Associations and image/tiff the association \
to the Image Viewer isn't any longer there.

If I try to open a tiff file, choose "Open with", choose the Image viewer and check \
the box "Remember application association for this file", the behaviour is the same. \
The association is not remembered.
