Unfortunately, at this moment, thorough dual head (or multi head for that 
matter) support doesn't exist in KDE. The only way this functions is with 
Xinerama, the XFree86 specific extension that makes possible to use many 
(XLib)Screens of a (XLib)Display as if they were concatenated into one single 
screen.

Activating Xinerama in XFree86-4.X automatically makes KDE work on all 
displays.
