| ok.. maybe i got this wrong.
| but however, gecko is a much more komplex render engine (that's not i
| guess, i do a lot with html and javascript and i know what gecko can do and
| what khtml can't do) while khtml is much faster.
| and i would prefer khtml to be developed as a lightning fast render
| engine, while letting gecko do the "hard stuff".
And overload system with one more browser??
Hopefuly, there are no sites optimized for Mozilla. And it will be hard for
Netscape to convinience webmasters to optimize sites for them, taking into
consideration their market position.

You can handle a lot of sites with Konqueror/KHTML.
IMHO Konqueror will be more successful then Netscape/Mozilla.
While it is part of KDE project, it runs from any other Window Manager
(tested with Window Maker, AfterStep, SawFish). Don't like KDE decorations?
Run it from SawFish! :-)
If only KHTML/KJS is ported to Windows and Mac ...

| there's no need to reinvent the wheel (it would be a large step backwards
| to compatibility).
Agree 100%
| gecko as a kpart would be absolutely great, so i hope to hear of someone
| allready working on it :)
It will be interesting to see it.
