The people who wants to switch back and forth to KDE1 has to be very few and far between. Most of the users will upgragde and be done with it. Only the people who are trying to port older products (from KDE1) to KDE2 may need to switch. Opinions ? >Why not moving the stuff from the old folder automagicaly ? Because some people on this very list wanted to be able to switch back to KDE 1.... so moving is not good. Copying would fix the initial problem, but the user would keep thinking that it's the folder on the desktop that works, so he wouldn't understand why any further change to that directory doesn't work..... >Suggestion >Move the stuff and open konqueror in this directory on first run Copy and show ? Hmm, why not....... A bit crude though, it would lack an explanation :-) -- David FAURE, david@mandrakesoft.com, faure@kde.org http://www.mandrakesoft.com/~david/, http://www.konqueror.org/ KDE, Making The Future of Computing Available Today See http://www.kde.org/kde1-and-kde2.html for how to set up KDE 2 >> Visit http://master.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kde-devel#unsub to unsubscribe << >> Visit http://master.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kde-devel#unsub to unsubscribe <<
