Isn't konqueror supposed to be able to view the picture right inside the window? If so, that depends on a helper application which I may not yet have installed, right? I associated 'display' (ImageMagick viewer) for .jpg pictures recently (original default was "Gimp", which I thought to be way overkill for just viewing pics) and was able to view them. Now, clicking on a jpeg results in a message "Sorry, can't launch /usr/X11R6/bin/display" -- and I can launch this app perfectly from a konsole. I attempted next to do "Settings ->Configure ->File Associations" at which point the crash dialog comes up.
