The problem here is actually the linux kernel. The standard kernel can't serve
tasks which have 10ms latency requirements reliably, even if they are running
with realtime priority. There are kernel patches around which improve that
behaviour, but even those fail in well-known situations (i.e. deleting a
100MB file).
