Hello!

I know about the documentation thing: read the files found in
kdelibs/ksgmltools.

However, I find the documentation included here extremely ineffective
in helping me install KDE's help files.

For example:

-Downloading.

It claims that you can download the RPM's of all the
files from the listed sites. I tried connecting to these web site,
and numerous mirrors, only to see that they don't have all the RPM's
available.

However, they're all available in the SRPMS directory... so while
they're hard to find, they're there.

-Unarchiving.

When it refers to the source, it asks that you use
gunzip. Unfortunately, the files are compressed using ZIP and you
need to download an additional utility.

-It doesn't tell you how to install docbook-dtd41 (it's a Patch
file).
-The file docbook-stylesheets doesn't seem to exist.

-Making it work.

There's a script, and it tells you to adjust the paths as
necessary. Unfortuantely, it doesn't tell you what the environment
variables are and what you should set your own paths to.

In any case, I'm getting frustrated trying to compile the
documentation and I'm wondering if anyone has a better step-by-step
guide to install the documentation.

Can anyone here help me get the documentation running? I can't seem
to do it with the documentation currently in the CVS.

Thank you for your time!!

- Arcana
