Why would these people have a problem with pronouncing the word 
'Konqueror'? It's derived from a normal English word, conqueror. Anyone
who can speak English properly will know how to say "konqueror" (and
and, unfortunately, <g> many probably won't know that it wasn't spelled
correctly). If anything, the 'k' will make it easier to pronounce as the 'c'
can have many interpretations. 

BTW, do you have any suggestions for a new name? How is it that
'konqueror' is so bad over any other English word that'd be used?
