The question isn't whether the OS is app centric or not, or whether the app
starts up when you click on a document or whether you need the Program Manager.
IMHO what you state above ("document centric point of view") will only work if
all apps are pure SDI apps.
The styleguide, however, makes a difference between pure SDI, cooperating SDI
and controlled SDI apps.
Therfore I'm wondering whether the statement "Quit closes the window, Close
closes the document" really applies to cooperating or controlled SDI apps?

Or am I reading an obsolete styleguide?
