Does anyone out there know why I can't login to ftp.kde.org as
user anonymous. If I try to login I get this

Connected to sun-barr.ebay.sun.com.
220 sun-barr FTP proxy server ready.
Name (ftp.kde.orgjonb): anonymous
230-You are user number 45 of 140 allowed.
230-Local time is now 18:17 and the load is 0.05.
230-You will be disconnected after 1800 seconds of inactivity.
230 Anonymous user logged in.

There it hangs however I can do this

Connected to sun-barr.ebay.sun.com.
220 sun-barr FTP proxy server ready.
Name (ftp.kde.orgjonb): anon
331-You are user number 44 of 140 allowed.
331-Local time is now 18:17 and the load is 0.03.
331-You will be disconnected after 1800 seconds of inactivity.
331 User anon OK.  Password required.
Password:
530 Sorry
Login failed.
ftp> user anonymous
230 Anonymous user logged in.


Not sure if this is a quirk with the ftp server or my end ?
