Subject:    UnixWare7 LTDL_SHLIB_EXT  in libltdl

   I have compiled most of kde2 and koffice but everything
   seems to fail because dcopserver won't run. I'm getting
   messages saying that some libraries cannot be loaded.

   When I compiled libltdl LTDL_SHLIB_EXT was undefined
   on looking in the header it was commented out but has a
   comment about ".so" so I added 

   #define LTDL_SHLIB_EXT ".so"

   What should this have been set to? should it have
   been .a or .la?
