Upgrade - you are using an old version of konqueror.
1.91 has just been released, give it a go.

Konqueror (or any other KDE2 app) runs fine under kde 1 or gnome or whatever else - see
http://www.kde.org/kde1-and-kde2.html for instructions if necessary.

Please report bugs using the bug report dialog or proper headers
