Ok so the error I get from configure is ...

checking for shmat... yes

checking for bool... yes
checking for Qt... libraries /usr/local/qt-2.1.1-fcs/lib, headers
/usr/local/qt-2.1.1-fcs/include
checking if Qt compiles without flags... no
checking for moc... /usr/local/qt-2.1.1-fcs/bin/moc
checking for rpath... yes
checking for KDE... will be installed in /usr/local/kde2
checking for KDE paths... defaults
checking for main in -lcompat... (cached) no
checking for main in -lutil... no
checking for libtiff tiff... yes
checking for X11/extensions/shape.h... yes
checking for X11/extensions/XShm.h... yes
checking for X11/ICE/ICElib.h... yes
checking whether time.h and sys/time.h may both be included... yes
checking whether byte ordering is bigendian... configure: error: can not run
test program while cross compiling
make: *** [kdelibs/Makefile] Error 1
<kde-build:source 298>

So from the above looks like I may be cross compiling, yes ?

gcc 2.95.2
gnu ld
etc etc

Since making the change to configure I started a compile last night however
it bailed trying to compile dcopidl. Appears dcopidl gives a segmentation
fault, not sure if this is related to this issue but though I would mention
it.

Thanks

Jon
