From kde-devel Tue May 30 22:37:25 2000 From: Rob Kaper Date: Tue, 30 May 2000 22:37:25 +0000 To: kde-devel Subject: Bug#4305: Changing preferences of kicker/menu entry X-MARC-Message: https://marc.info/?l=kde-devel&m=95972696209181 When changing the preferences of a kicker entry as a normal user, one gets the (justified) error that the file cannot be saved. After all, the kicker entry by default points to the system .desktop file. I suggest adding a button "Save as personal entry" to save the .desktop file in $HOME/.kde so a normal user can change the default system settings without having to become superuser.
