From kde-devel Sun Apr 30 15:06:36 2000 From: Neil de Carteret Date: Sun, 30 Apr 2000 15:06:36 +0000 To: kde-devel Subject: Still segfaulting... X-MARC-Message: https://marc.info/?l=kde-devel&m=95710736417449 My dcopidl and dcopidl2cpp are still segfaulting when run during make in kdelibs. I'm now on glibc 2.1.3 and libstdc++ 2.10. dcopidl actually creates the idl file successfully, but segfaults immediately afterwards. The backtrace looks like this: Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault. 0x4070b2a9 in _IO_flush_all_linebuffered () from /lib/libc.so.6 (gdb) bt #0 0x4070b2a9 in _IO_flush_all_linebuffered () from /lib/libc.so.6 #1 0x4070b2dd in _IO_flush_all_linebuffered () from /lib/libc.so.6 #2 0x406d6864 in exit () from /lib/libc.so.6 #3 0x406ce57d in __libc_start_main () from /lib/libc.so.6 This is right after the last line of the idl has been printed - I think it's trying to flush a buffer that isn't there. Or something. Sorry, C++ isn't my mother tongue. It's a bit of bother, but if someone with a working dcopidl could tell me what version of the libraries it uses they have, I'd be eternally grateful.
