Hey all,

I need a simple benchmark for network connections, is anything available
already ? Purpose is to decide which server of equals serves me best with
a rough estimation.

I'm thinking of a class, which gets the host and port (or service)
and then opens the port on the remote side, and times the connection and
transfer.
Should be non-blocking operation, too.

If not, I'd give it a try (won't make it into this lib version anyways).
