This is a plea to the kwin maintainer.

I love the KDE apps. I love the KDE environment. I especially love the Kwrite
editor, which is undoubtably the best thing ever. I might even use kde if it
weren't for one small detail.

I cannot stand the way desktops are managed. Every other window manager ever
created for linux has the ability to cycle through the desktops, which are
also, logically, laid out from left to right, or at least cycle like they are.

For example, sawmill uses CTRL-((left|right) arrow) to run through desktops;
enlightenment uses both the ALT-# and the CTRL-ALT-arrow bindings. Those are
the only two I know for sure, because, frankly, those are the only two I use.
As a matter of fact, I don't even develop for kde in kde, because I generally
have 6 to 8 desktops running at once, and it is a huge pain to have move the
mouse to switch. Yes, I can do the CTRL-# thing, but I WANT to be able to go
*bam->bam->bam* and scan em all really quick, or slide back and forth.

Forgive the drama, I've had too much coffee, but I do believe this is the sole
reason that I don't use kde. Heretic am I.

Anyways, If I'm very wrong about this please enlighten (no pun meant) me; other
wise I am begging the kwin folks to add this minor, very unimportant, trivial
even addition.

Thanks.

Ian
