I just did this and it still segfaults.  It seems to have started when I 
upgraded to RH 6.2.   

Where can i get thios backtrace app?  And is there directions on how to use 
it?

P.S.  RH 6.2 has a kde.sh script and it sets KDEDIR=/usr.  Be careful when 
installing KDE, or it will go into /usr (you have to be root of course :-).
